In Romania it’s still common to see, during Christmas time, people wearing traditional masks and performing the “Goat Dance” or the “Bear Dance” around cities. This rug represents my interpretation of one of those masks.

Held in a traditional handloom with raw rag.
Embossing technique or colours overlaying.
Finished with basic sewing.
